In Remembrance

Today is a day of remembrance

A day of memories
A day of sorrow and pain
A day of loved ones coming home
A day of thought to those that gave their lives so that we may live ours

In peace
In happiness
In love
In a world where different cultures and people work together to end war

What is war
What is crime
What is lies
What convinces mankind to be cruel to each other

Over power
Over money
Over land
Over faith

Why must we hate and cause war over such pointless things
Why must we cause pain and death to be at the top
Why does anyone feel good to cause suffering at all
Why must we disappoint those that died giving us the better life

We must learn to love
We must learn to bring peace
We must learn to take care of the world we live in
We must learn to rid ourselves of unnecessary evil

Or we will be the death of us all

2011 Long Overdue…

An update has been long overdue. I’m back from the abyss.

First off, got a job as an IT Support Technician Full Time. Pays good and is a permanent job. Second, got my dream car, a White 2006 Mazda RX-8 GT. I’m loving it and still pinch myself sometimes wondering if it is still a dream. Guess not, sweet.

I have been slowly starting to change my lifestyle lately. Went out last night for the first time in a while, saw an old high school friend, and even got the nerve to try karaoke lol. The stage fright is still there but it will go away eventually. I see a future in this, got some good comments on my voice considering I was visibly shaking the whole time haha.

Right after my last post in Sept 2010, I managed to squeeze in a skydive at 12500 feet. Best thing ever. The rush is so insane that I forgot to breath and had to land with no vision and barely any strength. Took a good minute of lying on the ground to calm down and get my vision back. Was awesome regardless and I will be doing it again for sure and will definitely remember to breath this time and tense my body for the chute deployment G’s that are nothing like the training jump.

In other news, I don’t game as much and been cutting back on the daily popcorn marathon. Maybe 1-2 times a week now and a lot of times only half a bowl. Next weekend I am hanging out with Jay from college. Gonna start playing some paintball and exercise some more as well. I guess my plan is coming together even though being jobless last year delayed it quite a bit. Now that I got the income to spend on things, I will definitely be changing for the better.

Peace out, I’m off.

The spinning girl image spins one way and I can prove it…

Lately that picture of the spinning girl has been floating around and some get confused or don’t believe it. Now even though I am right sided and right brained, I see it spin both ways and and can change its direction almost instantly on demand, I simply imagine its going the other way and that causes me to see what I should see to accept that its spinning the other way thanks to my right sided imagination. This all will assist me in solving the problem.

This isn’t what you came to read about though, you all came to see which way it truly spins and I have the proof. It spins counter clockwise and here is why. The girl is black with light in the background which means the light source that makes the shadows is behind the girl. So now look at the shadows of her feet, you only see the shadow of the outside leg moving left. The only way for the shadow to work because of the the light source position is if the leg is behind her when the shadow is visible because the closer to the background and light source the outside foot appears, the further away from you, the observer, the foot is which makes the shadow also farther away as well because its closer to the light source. So even if you try clockwise, the shadows make no sense.

So in conclusion, until the shadows are removed from the image, it truly is only spinning counter clockwise. Thank you for your time, email me some more questions with many answers like this one and I’ll tell you if they are truly multi sided. Talk to you all later.

P.S. To whoever made those images, if you fix them, I would like some credit for the discovery. Thanks.

Heres the image so you don’t have to go find it

What is Sleep, What is a Dream, What is Reality…

It has been a while since my last post, I decided to stop the personal stuff because I have run out of things to talk about after blogging 2-3 times a week for 2-3 months straight. I decided to get into the science stuff like life as a whole among other things. I had a small taste of this when I blogged about 2012, The Environment and Teen Society. With all the Inception buzz going on, it reminds me of the awkward sleeping habits and dreams that I have. After thinking about the relations between that and the film, I am beginning to question reality in the back of my mind and feel it deserves a blog post. As a simple warning, This post is completely based on my own opinions and thoughts so don’t go flaming me for writing something thats wrong or impossible or any other excuses. The information is simply as I perceive it.

What is reality? A better question, does reality even exist? These question has be rolling in my head for a while and the buzz from the film Inception just makes it more dominant in my mind. Computer processing power is accelerating to the point that not far from now, we may create a virtual reality similar to “The Matrix” but hopefully without all the machines trying to kill us or use our bodies for energy, haha. So with that in mind. What is to say we are right now, inside a Matrix or even in a dream. What if we are just souls in the universe dreaming what we see today. What if we are in a Matrix. What is to say I am some unconscious mind or even a massive computer from the future dreaming this whole universe. Scientifically, I think it couldn’t be proven because of the fact that if this world was fake, simply awakening me would destroy it and thus defeat the purpose of proving it in the first place. On the thought of that, my dreams have been where I live for months or even years in a single dream in a period of 8-14 hours in this world and feel like that period of time as gone by in real life which explains why I feel so tired even after a normal amount of sleep. Another thing is it is when I have these type of dreams, I completely ignore my senses and can sometimes sleep for 12-24 hours unable to be awaken by anything. These dreams interest me very much and I am beginning to be able to become lucid. So instead of observing what feels like a prerecorded movie and instead I control them without realizing its a dream like the level of Shutter Island where he is living a fantasy in the real world without realizing until the end that the fantasy wasn’t real.

In a sense, I wish this was dream. Look at what we are doing to our home. Without it, we would just die off and become nonexistent. But to a reference that Neo’s abilities transferred to the real world, what is to say what we are capable of doing in our dreams can’t be done in this world. Why can’t we do something to save our planet beyond money and technology. Why can’t we choose to unlock the secrets of our minds and save ourselves. Are we so glued to the bullshit that the media and governments have been feeding us for eternity that we can’t be ourselves any more. To another referenced thought, look at the Ocampa species from Star Trek. They had become so dependent on the caretakers that they forgot about themselves. Whats to say we haven’t been so glued to the shit were feed and drawn towards power and greed that we have lost ourselves. What if all the things in the past like the Pyramids, the Mayans, Atlantis, and all the alien stories from history were us in our prime and now our DNA is destroyed from the many millenia of not using it. Maybe the abilities are still there and locked within our minds and within reach if we just believe.

Now I know that there is a lot of what if’s in this but the idea isn’t to explain something or provide information. The point is to make you think what if. Now I couldn’t care less if I am the wrongest person in the world right now. Who cares if I am wrong. But just think…what if I am right.

Mid May Mayhem…

Probably the busiest I’ve been all year. I got a project that me and an old friend are working on for a website. I starting a self-employment program on Thursday while still looking for work. And lastly, I have finally begun working on my novel after getting stuck reworking my story written in school. I originally had the story from school and another I wrote in my spare time. After some months of thought, I have decided to mix them together a bit with some ideas I came up with. The final design is still unclear and I may end up going back to one of the original stories but I think I need to dump my ideas out so that my mind is clear and I can better concentrate on one story at a time. Keep checking up, will have more updates coming soon. Also, I checked out the skydiving place in Dunnville, pretty sweet place. I got to check out the planes, gear and watched about 2 hours of video from their last 2 year end DVD’s with them while I was there since it was too windy to be open for jumping. They definitely know their stuff and they have fun doing it. Hope to see you all there for some adrenaline inducing awesomeness.

Home…

Finally home after 2 weeks up north with family. Was a nice holiday to relax. I just finished going through all my unread email and facebook stuff after being computer-less for 2 weeks. Unlike what some people think, I can survive without internet and video games just fine….haha. The job hunt is not going too well still, I’ll find something soon….I hope. If anyone knows someone looking for a web programmer or pc tech in the barrie area, let me know. I off for now. Talk to you later.

Can Finally Ride…

I finally got my bike back together and went for a cruise around town. Looks so sweet with the black frame now, i’ll post pics when I get the chance. Not much else is new lately. The bike show wasn’t all that much this weekend, more of a trade show then anything else. But I still had fun in Toronto after the show playing pool, basketball, and ping pong with Jay. Thats it for wow. Talk to you Later.

March Update…

I went to the AMA Supercross at the Skydome last weekend. Freaking awesome stuff. The 250 I was cheering for won, almost had a fight during practice. Reed and Stewart weren’t there for the 450 races but it was still awesome to see. Traffic was hell going home though, took over an hour to move 2-3 blocks. The bike is finally stripped to nothing. I am picking up the frame, swingarm, and exhaust pipe from the powder coaters tomorrow. Then I have to order a few parts to fix an oil leak, new bearings for my swingarm since I had to smash them out to get it powder coated, and a masterlink to reuse my old chain til I get new tires which I will replace the chain. I could kill to ride right now lol. Probably going to spend this weekend washing all my bike parts to look new. I off, Talk to you all later.
